Journal Singapore
Promotion: IKEA friends enjoy 15% off! Simply call 6100 4363 and quote "IKEA loves Singapore" to enjoy this offer. Offer is valid till 10 October 2010.
In celebration of the nation's 45th birthday, we cast the limelight on Singapore's very own creation - Journal Singapore.
Journal Singapore is the world's first Heritage Boardgame featuring Singapore through 3 eras ranging from 1900s to 1965. It is a fast-paced game of strategy and wit. The player to secure the most sector wins the game. You don't even need to know history to play this game. The system suits 3 to 5 players and takes less than 15 minutes to learn (but much longer to master).
The amazing thing about this game is that it is based on real historical incidents and people, and act as a good educational source for students of local history.
Journal Singapore was created by Monsters Under the Bed, a creative writing company that has been around since 2006 helping youths age 4 to 18 unleash their imagination.
Contest: If you fancy owning a piece of history, we have three autographed copies of Journal Singapore to give away. Simply tell us in less than 100 words what you would do in Old Singapore if you have a chance to travel back in time.
Email your entries to mktg.sg@ikano.asia from 30 August to 15 September 2010.
