Happy Mother’s Day!
2 May 2009. Mothers were out in force with their kids in tow to make themselves a mother’s day gift. And, they more than deserve the beautiful creations that they made. Here are some of the fabulous mothers and one father with their family.

Decorating Easter Egg Cups & Eggs
5 April 2009. Imagination ran wild at the workshop to decorate egg cup holders in time for Easter! Everybody had their own thoughts on what their egg cups should look like & here’s some of their work! The adults had a more difficult task of decorating the egg using Japanese decorative paper but one thing’s for sure, everybody had fun.

Family Mosaic Workshop
22 families spent precious time together to create their “designer” vase from mosaic in a workshop in January.

Gingerbread House Decorating
In December, our members had fun decorating gingerbread houses just in time for Christmas!

Samsui Women: Laying the Bricks
Held at the National Museum of Singapore, this activity allowed 4-6 year olds children to experience the work life and living conditions of a samsui woman through a combination of role play and slide shows. Children also learned how to fold their own traditional red headgear.

Happy Father's Day!
On the 7th of June, 18 pairs of daddies and children have done a great
team-work to transform a normal plant pot into an exquisite mosaic art!

Talented artist, Einstein Kristiansen, visited IKEA Tampines on 16 September 2007 for a special event with friends members! He showed us how to doodle and how to use our own imagination and creativity to paint on the IKEA LACK tables. Here are some of the works of art by our members!
