Terms and Conditions

1. The IKEA friends card is issued by & remains the property of IKANO Pte Ltd. IKANO Pte Ltd reserves the right to decline issue of a new card or withdraw any existing card at any time.
   
   
2. The IKEA friends programme is intended for individual and/or personal use only. Corporate purchases are not valid for membership application.
   
   
3. All IKEA friends members must be residents in Singapore and be at least 18 years old and above, on the date of application.
   
   
4. All application forms must be completed in full with original cash register receipts of the same day, and submitted to the IKEA friends counters within 14 days. This membership card is not transferable & can only be used by the rightful signatory.
   
   
5. Only one membership card can be issued per application per person, regardless of amount spent and number of receipts presented upon application.
   
   
6. Receipts(s) used by existing members to accumulate Bonus Points are not acceptable for new membership applications.
   
   
7. Receipt(s) showing purchases of IKEA gift vouchers, food & beverage items or charges on kitchen/flooring installation, sewing, delivery & assembly services are not applicable for membership application and/or earning of Bonus Points & complimentary drinks /discounted meals coupons.
   
   
8. Each IKEA friends card membership is valid for 2 years. If members do not renew their memberships on expiry and would like to be a member again, they will have to re-apply by making a purchase of $300 or more on the same day.
   
   
9. Bonus Points and complimentary drinks/discounted meals coupons will expire every 2 years or on renewal. A biennial fee of $25 will be levied upon membership renewal. However, this fee will be waived if $600 is spent within the preceding 2 years of membership.
   
   
10. To receive Bonus Points & complimentary drinks/discounted meals coupons, members must show their IKEA friends cards upon reaching the cashier and before a purchase is recorded. This card must also be produced when ordering Benefit Price Items at the Sales Counters. Failure to do so will render certain loss of member benefits and/or privileges.
    
    
11. Every $10 spent in a single receipt at the IKEA stores entitles you to 1 Bonus Points. No Bonus Points will be credited for any remaining purchase(s) not exceeding $10 or if the friends card is not presented at the cashiers during payment. If any purchase is refunded, the awarded Bonus Points will be revoked.
    
    
12. All new and renewed friends members are entitled to print and redeem 10 complimentary drinks/discounted meals coupons during the 2-year membership. Each friends card can redeem 1 coupon per day; and each printed coupon is only valid for use in the IKEA Restaurant on the date of printing. Unused coupons will not be refunded.
    
    
13. With a minimum spend of $10 in a single receipt at the IKEA store each day, you will earn an additional 1 complimentary drinks/meals coupon in your friends card. Limited to 1 coupon per day per card, regardless of the number of transactions or purchase amount spent after the initial $10.
    
    
14. Members are responsible for informing IKEA either in person or in writing, when their IKEA friends card is lost, stolen or when there is a change of personal particulars. If this is not done, IKEA will not be accountable for any consequences and loss of benefits and/or privileges. $10 is payable to replace a new card if it has been mailed to an old address due to changes in member’s particulars not communicated to IKEA. $10 is payable for the replacement of any lost or stolen card.
    
    
15. All terms and conditions of IKEA's 'Return Policy' will apply to all purchases made by members. If a member refunds/returns any items for which Bonus Points have been credited, corresponding number of Bonus Points for the items returned will be removed from member’s account.
    
    
16. If a member refunds items which are part of the receipt(s) used for membership application, IKEA reserves the right to ask for additional purchases to be made within the next 30 days in order to meet the entry criteria. Failure to do so may result in the membership being revoked. In such cases, all Bonus Points will be cancelled and membership reapplication will be subjected to the existing entry criteria.
    
    
17. IKANO Pte Ltd reserves the right, on reasonable grounds, to alter and amend any of the conditions of the operation of the friends programme, or to withdraw or cancel any membership without prior notice.
    
    
18. Reasonable grounds include any abuse or attempted abuse of the friends programme; use or attempted use of an IKEA friends card in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions; and any reasonable suspicion or dishonesty on the part of a member in connection with the programme.
