When does my friends membership expire?
The expiry date is stated on the friends membership card itself. Membership is valid for 2 years from the date of issue or in the case of renewal, 2 years from the date of renewal.

How do I check the number of Bonus Points that I have accumulated?
You can check the balance of your Bonus Points in these following ways:

1. When you collect the free coffee coupon at the friends counter, the Bonus Points are indicated on your coupon.
2. When you redeem your Bonus Points for Bonus Gifts, the friends staff will inform you of how many bonus points you have.
3. When you log onto the friends website, you can go to Members Login to check on the status of your Bonus Points.

How do I redeem my Bonus Points?
You can redeem Bonus Points for friends vouchers or Bonus Gifts at the friends counter on level 2 of the IKEA store. Alternatively, you can redeem them for friends vouchers online on the IKEA friends website. The vouchers will subsequently be sent to you by mail or picked up at the friends counter.

What is the difference between Bonus Gifts and Benefit Items?
Bonus Gifts are free gifts you can redeem with your Bonus Points. Benefit Items are products in the store that are at specially reduced prices exclusively for friends members. Both Benefit Items and Bonus Gifts are updated monthly, so do remember to check the IKEA friends website for the latest offerings.

Will my Bonus Points expire?
Yes, your Bonus Points will expire at the same time as your membership expiry date, which is indicated on your friends card.

Can I apply for an additional card if I purchase more than $300 worth of IKEA products with my friends card?
You are not allowed to use this receipt for a new application. However, every time you make a purchase with your friends card, Bonus Points are accumulated in your account. You can use these points to attend movie previews and workshops or redeeming them for Bonus Gifts and friends vouchers.

How do I renew my friends membership card?
If you have spent more than $600 at the IKEA store in the last 2 years, your membership will automatically be renewed for another 2 years and a new card will be sent to you. If you have spent less than $600, you will be required to go to the friends counter on level 2 of the IKEA Building to renew your membership for a fee of $25.

However, it is important to note that Bonus Points will expire on the date of your membership expiry, regardless of whether you renew your membership or not. Thus, you will be required to redeem all your Bonus Pints before the expiry date.

How can I get a waiver of IKEA friends VISA card membership fee?

Membership fee is $50 for the main card and $30 for subsidiary card for 2 years. The first 2 years membership fees will be waived. Each member may be given a maximum of 2 supplementary cards

Cardholders will have their membership fee waived on their renewals if their purchases are above $5,000 or in the case when he spends more than $600 in IKEA, 50% of his fee is waived on his card renewal.

Can I accumulate Bonus Points when I don’t shop with my friends card?
The Bonus Points are accumulated electronically by swiping your card at the cashier when you make purchases. Without your friends card, it is not possible to update your Bonus Points.

Can I combine the Bonus Points of my IKEA friends card and IKEA friends VISA card if i have both cards?
The Bonus Points of both cards are accumulated separately. The Bonus Points of each card expires in 2 years according to the respective membership-period of each card.
