Thanks for your input and support for IKEA. We welcome anyone to the store, regardless of the mode of transport they take. We understand your frustrations and can see where you're coming from since a number of our co-workers ride bikes too. Unfortunately, we have to strike a balance with regards to managing the parking space, as most of our products can be bulky and chances are our customers would arrive in cars or vans for easier transportation.

Rest assured that, one step at a time, we are constantly looking to improve the store facilities and services for our customers e.g. the recent addition of shelters for the taxi stands. We hope you would continue to visit us and appreciate your feedback. Cheers!

Thanks ikea tampines for pitying the bikers and have a 18 lots shelter for bikes, Guess 1 time only 18 bikes are welcome to ikea shelter, the rest carry on and park outside the rain and sun...Thanks again for shelter lot.

First of all, I must say I appreciate the parking lots provided for motorcycles at the new Ikea Tampines. However, I was quite disappointed that the lots are not sheltered.

Sometimes when it rains, we bikers need to remove our raincoats upon reaching our destination, in this case, the new Ikea store. We need to do so under shelter or else we would get drenched before we start to shop.

Also, if it rains, we would encounter difficulties in keeping our small purchases into our boxes and getting our raincoats and putting them on.

I really hope Ikea would look more kindly upon bikers and relocate the bike lots; provide small sheltered lots or better still, erect a simple canopy over our heads.
